Project aimed at the recovery, production and marketing of corn and amaranth to contribute to the food security and sovereignty of small producers in the areas of Tarija and Cochabamba. Aoped, our local partner, has been involved in a 360-degree accompanying path: from the planting of amaranth, through peer-to-peer education among campesinos of the ecological school, to end up on the benches of the local peasant fairs in Bolivia.
But there’s more. The small producers have participated in a process of revision of public purchasing policies; their requests have reached the highest institutional levels and the doors of the Ministry of Rural Development have opened.
