Poverty-fighting medicinal plants
Alma Briosa is a young Italian company, founded in 2010. They produce natural and organic cosmetics for face and body care.
Alma Briosa cosmetics stand out for being 100% Made in Italy, made with the most particular vegetable raw materials from all over the world and certified by Organic Autocert.
On the occasion of SANA 2017 they wanted to do something more and decided to start a collaboration with Fratelli dell’Uomo. They chose to support one particular project, very similar to their production philosophy: “Medicinal plants that fight poverty”.
The beneficiary of the project is a small community of Mayan K’iches Women living in the Totonicapán area of Guatemala, who live in poverty.
Fratelli dell’Uomo will provide these women with the economic support and skills necessary to emancipate themselves by cultivating medicinal plants typical of their culture, allowing them to live a dignified life without betraying their cultural identity.
To concretely support this project we have created Multiactive Moisturizing Cream, a product that pays homage to the culture of Mayan Women and the wonderful land of South America.
For each cream sold, part of the proceeds will be donated to support the project Medicinal Plants that Fight Poverty, thus giving concrete help to these women.
