Latin America

Our work in Latin America

Fratelli dell’Uomo has been present in Latin America since its foundation in 1969. We have always worked in partnership with local communities, that is, by studying together the sustainability of common actions and their implementation methods. We do not have expatriate personnel to allocate resources directly to projects and to empower local actors in their management. We work in support of community agriculture, organic farming, access to arable land and water resources, protection of the environment and biodiversity and preservation of the ancestral traditions of native communities.
